The Story
Nicolas Sarkozy gets tough. The French might do some things well but one of them is not integrating their immigrant Arabs and other minorities. I support immigration and realize immigrants are important in a free market economy but a country must make sure that these immigrants mesh well into their society. Otherwise they collectively take up residence in poverty stricken areas and marinate in their discontent. It is lesson for our own country. We must give these people a path to citizenship but at the same time we need to make sure they assimilate to the basics of our culture (such as language).
